WM Chapter Business Meeting on AUG. 21 will be held at 7 PM in the board room on the second floor of the Allegany Museum on the corner of Pershing and South Mechanic streets in Cumberland MD. Members attending this meeting are requested to park their vehicles in the parking lot on the south side of the museum building and enter by using the ramp way going up to the south entrance. Among the items of business to be discussed during this meeting will be regular reports from chapter officers and committee chairmen. Membership applications will be read and considered for approval. Plans will be discussed for the meeting programs that are scheduled for September 18 and October 16. Members may sign up for working on events scheduled for the River & Rails Festival in Cumberland on Aug. 24 and on the WM Chapter’s local railroad history display during the Mount Savage Iron Rail Days on Sept. 7 & 8. The nomination process for the annual election of WM Chapter officers and directors on November 20 will begin with the selection of the Nominations Committee. All WM Chapter members are urged to attend this meeting.
