Chapter Meeting – June 16, 2021

This meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Cumberland Railroad Museum at 17 Howard Street, Suite C5, among the shops at Canal Place. Nearest free parking is available on Howard St. beneath the 1-68 bridge located on the north side of the Footer Dye Works building. Walk west along Howard St. extended to the end of the row of shops on the left side. The meeting is open to the public at no charge.

WM Chapter Meeting Program Chairman Jeff Geiger will show a 95-minute Pentrex video program based on its Union Pacific BIG BOY Collection. Produced in September 2001, this program has been proclaimed as the “Greatest Big Boy Video Ever!” A newly discovered collection of 35mm film that has never before been available to the public, has been combined with existing archives, to produce an all-inclusive record of each of the 25 Big Boy locomotives in action. Come and enjoy watching these immense locomotives on a 55-inch 4K ULTRA HD screen.
